A name is not a rule
A yoga label abbreviates exact participants, houses or signs, exclusions, and sometimes dignity. Store the full definition and source family before showing the name.
Formation, modification, activation
Verify every formation condition, then show combustion, weakness, competing lordships, or contrary rules separately. Dasha and transit may mark salience only after formation is proven.
Strength is multi-component
Classical systems examine sign, direction, time, motion, aspect, and other conditions. A total is meaningful only when inputs, units, thresholds, and sources are inspectable.
Aṣṭakavarga is distinct
Aṣṭakavarga assigns defined contributions to signs for specific traditional uses. It is not dignity, shadbala, or prediction confidence. Astrolife teaches it before attempting any production score.
Audit a two-lord yoga
A rule requires ninth and tenth lords to conjoin.
- Calculate both lords from Lagna.
- Confirm the shared D1 sign.
- Check exclusions and modifiers.
- Only then inspect participant dashas.
Practice on a chart
- Rewrite one yoga as yes/no conditions.
- Question any strength badge whose components are hidden.
Can you explain it?
Does a yoga name prove its promised outcome?
No. Formation, condition, timing, and context are separate.
Yoga and strength chapters in Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, Phaladīpikā, Jātaka Pārijāta, and Sārāvalī.
Traditional interpretations are presented as a field of study and reflection, not scientifically established prediction.
