01

Graha means more than planet

The nine-graha scheme contains the Sun and Moon, five visible planets, and two mathematical lunar nodes. The term graha refers to an astrological factor, so it does not claim that every member is the same kind of physical object.

02

Names and abbreviations

Astrolife uses Su, Mo, Ma, Me, Ju, Ve, Sa, Ra, and Ke. These labels reduce symbol memorization while preserving Sanskrit names in explanation panels. Rahu and Ketu remain opposite points because they represent the ascending and descending lunar nodes.

03

No graha works alone

A graha is read through its longitude, rāśi, house, dignity, lordship, relationships, varga placement, and timing context. A generic keyword may help memory, but it cannot substitute for that complete context.
